Litroenergy, a new patent pending design, promises to offer a light source that runs 24/7 for 12 years without ever needing electricity or sun exposure. It also works on the microscopic scale, so it could potentially be added to paint or virtually any material. If that wasn't great enough, it's also very cheap to manufacture.
